It would last all of five minutes, then people would start finding ways to make themselves different so that they would have something to fight about again. We like to fight and we will fight about anything, it's what people do.

That happens every day in country like Japan.

Everybody is about the same color and many people there do not have any particular religion. In those cases, people find other reason to discriminate each other. This is not particular to Japan, by the way. It happens all over the world where there is no skin color difference.

People find some minute difference in skin color, hair, height, last name (which tells the job of the ancesters in many cases), place they live, cloths they wear....

Unfortunately, human nature is such that people want to differentiate themselves from the rest. There are two ways of doing this. Become a better person or belive everybody else is worse than you. Guess which one is easier....?

A fulfilled world, peaceful etc
Your question has a few parts here are some suggestions...
1) Well, we all are the same colour.
All 'skin colours' have the same pigment 'melolin' just differing amounts, i.e. somebody with pale skin has a smaller amount of melolin than somebody with darker skin.
2) Wouldn't it be nice if everybody did have the same religion...there is only one God.
3)Don't know much about George Bush...suppose he's just like any other leader.

We would probably, in that case, be enjoying a slightly better existence devoid of racial and religious intolerance.

But we would still have problems. For example, we would all die until death had been ended.

Hey, maybe we can cheat? Maybe we can reap the benefits by PRETENDING we're all the same color, or that the color of one's skin and the nation of one's origin are as irrelevant as the coefficient of friction between one's toenail and an ice cube?

It would be a living hell. Everyone would be the same. Same eye color, same race, same beliefs, same religion, etc..
There would be no variety, and life would be pointless for the most part. There would be no individualism.

It is almost communist philosphy-- to have only one race to prevent social conflict.

my 2 cents

You speak of 20th century Japan. They were accomplished in the art of war, and were quite a violent society.
