Medical information is confidential except under certain legally defined circumstances. The Medical Board of California requires applicants to state if they have any condition that impairs or limits their ability to practice medicine.

Like Irene said above, the state will ask you if you have eny conditions. If you lie about conditions you may have, they you lie about obtaining a medical license, and they can take it away from you. There should be an advocate you can contact on the state medical board that would be able to accuarately answer your questions in better detail.
