If you've ever made the famous, "beer can chicken", you can also make it with Coke, root beer, or Dr. Pepper. Basically, you grill a whole roaster chicken standing up with a can of your beverage of choice stuck in the cavity. The can supports the chicken in the upright position and the liquid inside permeates the meat from within during cooking. The meat comes out tender and juicy with a hint of the flavor of the cooking beverage.

There's this dessert that my mom makes (It's a family recipe) called "Coca-Cola Salad" that is SO good. It's basically coke, bing cherries, pecans, cream cheese, pineapples, and black cherry jello...I think that's it.
I'm sure it's somewhere on the internet but if not...I mostly just gave it away.

i've heard you can put some coca-cola into the washing machine if you have "grease stains" (for mechanics overalls or something) and it cleans them right up*
or if you have a very old penny, put it in a cup of cola and wait a bit...you'll see what it does*
but if you think about it...wow....if it can do that ...what is it doing to the inside of your body*

I've seen it used in baking. I've seen it used to soak the connection wires on the battery connection in a car. It can also be used to shine up a penny.

You can actually use it in a cake recipe and several others. go to www.thecoca-colacompany.com and look under recipes. It is sweet and acidic and adds a really unique taste to some dishes.
