Everyone of her siblings, nieces, nephews, her mother, her dad, her ex-husband, her kids and all her friends, the neighbors, and all the distant relatives, and her old teachers, and co-workers and acquaintances are totally against this relationship.
How can so many people be wrong?
Here is my question.......how can a relationship between them be good when it is making so many others unhappy? He is not attractive and she is very pretty. She also is educated. But is something wrong when so many people see it as absurd?
How could it actually be possible for them to be happy when he is so dang old? BTW, he is always giving her money. Hello!

If she were say in her teens or early 20's I would understand the concern. But hey she is a grown woman! Let her live her life. If she is happy with this man then let her be happy. You didn't say anything about the way he treats her. Only that he gives her money. Is that really a bad thing? YOu usually hear from people say my friend is dating a loser who takes all her money and uses her. I gather he treats her well since you don't mention that he doesn't. Leave her alone and let her live her life. And what difference does it make the way she or he look. you think she should only date good looking people because she if nice looking? How shallow is that? Leave her alone and let her make her own decision. It is after all her life to live.

With a couple in their 40's and 60's, not only does age not have anything to do with it, it's also not anyone else's business. Does she seem happy? Does he abuse her? Is he mean to her? What's wrong with him other than you think he's too old? WHY does it make others unhappy? Because they don't look right together in others' eyes? You may not think he's attractive, but she may think he's beautiful. And it he wants to give her money, sounds like he's old enough and smart enough to make that decision.

Tell everyone to mind their own business and after fourty years old I would think she would say what is on her mind. They must be happy together and the others are just selfish when it has nothing to do with them.
