Ezekiel 38 identifies who will start Armageddon--the major players, but Revelation brings in a free-for-all. As you know, all nuclear nations have a computerized defense system, and it takes over automatically. Imagine the horror as our technology obliverates the earty. Look up, then, because your redemption draws near.

Many people think so, and that is why the scientific team advanced the "dooms-day clock" closer to midnight.

The prophecies in Ezekiel 38 name the nations that will attack Israel. Please note that it will not be terrorists attacking Israel independently, but an alliance of Arab countries.

According to the prophecy, Israel will be brought back (at the end of the days) from the nations where they were scattered.

Then God uses mostly tribal names of Noah's descendants to identify them as the final antagonists.

Those countries start at Libya, Ethiopia (ancient Cush) is now Sudan, and they continue around to Turkey and the foothills of Mt. Ararat.

It is interesting to note that when Ezekiel wrote those prophecies, Islam did not exist, but now, 2,600 years later, the Middle East is a powder keg.

There is more on this at "THE RISE, DECLINE, AND DEATH OF ISLAM IN BIBLE PROPHECIES. It is very informative.

Not yet, next to happen is the United Nations attacking the Ram/Iran.

Dan 8:7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

Dan 8:20 The ram which thou sawest having two horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

Persia is Iran and Media the middle lands or Arab nations.

Dan 8:21 And the rough goat is the king of Grecia: and the great horn that is between his eyes is the first king.

In history the goat was Alexander the great who ruled the known world then. Today the goat is the United Nations which rule the world or trys as we know it.

Armageddon is when Satan's crowd in Jerusalem are pounded with hailstones. Rev 16:21 which happens at the 7th trumpet.

We have a ways to go first.

It is more likely Israel will launch a nuclear holocaust by attacking Iran with nuclear warheads, then claiming this was "pre-emptive". Russia has made it clear they are supporting Iran. They will then respond to Israel. The U.S. will respond to them. Israeli's do not care if they die and,to be frank,I've always felt they went to the mideast in search of another Masada.

Rev. 19:19: “I saw the wild beast [human political rulership as a whole] and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage the war with the one seated on the horse and with his army

It is going to cause WWIII. It won't be as big a deal as most think. They live like it is the seventh century and when we finally decide to really cut our military loose and let them fight instead of this crap of sending them in and not letting them win, it will be over quick.
