There is no reason to have to know. One simply doesn't postulate something for which there is no evidence. Religious people want to say that God created the Universe, but nothing created God. Well, I don't go there. I have no evidence of any God but I do have evidence of Nature itself. I say that Nature is the parameters of the Universe and the Universe has always existed in one form or another. Nothing created the Universe it just has always been. This is compatible with scientific evidence. Matter and Energy can neither be created nor destroyed only transformed. Religion says that matter and energy can be created from nothing. It's the "God did it" answer, which isn't an answer at all.

If you pray for me, I'll continue to THINK for you.

You ask a question and yet you insult other religion ... That is the prove that your god does not exist.

Why should I worship a God who isn't perfect ?

Why should I believe in a God that kills ?
*He flooded the earth to cleanse it from Humans, I am sure any logical Human would have thought another way to do that instead of suffocating humans and letting them die in Pneumonia or hyperthermia. Your god is a killer !

Why does your god blames everything that is obviously his mistaked to his fallen angel Lucifer ? *Lucifer is a fallen arch angel. Lucifer is also know as "The barier of Light". Maybe your God is childish.

It seems your God only know how to Blame others and only claim minor victory for his own.

And finally , your God obviously don't exist because you wouldn't be here in Yahoo Answers asking that question IF your God is always there with you.

That only proves that even you can't hear your God nor does your God exist because you had to Ask other in order to get your answer. So, who is god now ? Us ?

I am proud to be a Buddhist because I don't need to worship any God. Besides, I write my own story. I don't need some God almighty to decide my life !

Some of the "lost" people of the world belong to churches that believe all those who don't agree with their dogma will be damned for eternity. And of course, it all depends on how you define God. A fussy, jealous God like the Old Testament Jehovah? Or the All-One, unknown and unknowable, undifferentiated First Cause, all that was, and is, and is to come?

You cant possibly know that God doesn't exist.Put it this way it is better to believe in Jesus and be wrong and just be dead then it is for an atheist to be wrong and end up in Hell. Not that I'm saying I'm just guessing because I believe there is a god 100%one just because he says so two because everyone that wrote to you knows there is a God that they will haft to answer to when you die whither they have a distorted view or not.Three its easier to believe that god made the world then it is that over billions of years ago there was an explosion that formed the earth and of course we evolved from monkeys now whats more unbelievable. And to the people that that say we only believe in God because we wont except the fact that we will be dead forever it would be easier for me to live if I didn't believe in a just God that would punish me to hell for all eternity if I was not truly converted. My only hope is in Jesus when he died on the cross for our sins as is yours your going to haft to learn to live with it not me I already have. ill pray for you please pray for me.

The burden of proof is on the believer. How can you possibly know Russell's teapot doesn't exist?

You don't know he's real; you think you do. You're going to spend eternity dead, just like everybody else. I realize this is so scary to you that you need to deny it.

I will hope for you - that you manage to find reality and lose the need for fantasy.

It's very simple. The fact that your supposed God has no true name is all the evidence a reasonable person would need to doubt your declaration. However, since there are thousands of Gods, most with names, you should be given the benefit of the doubt and we can accept that your God is one of the minor Gods without names.

There is no reason to think he does.

There is no evidence that there is a god. It is not reasonable or rational to believe in things without any evidence. You would be stuck with every ridiculous thing that human imagination could come up with. No evidence essentially means that someone made it up.

Not believing in god is the same as not believing in Zeus, Aguta, Ishtar, Odin, Xenu, Hera, Anubis, Juno, and all the thousands of others since the evidence is exactly the same. I would be no less surprised if someone found evidence of Bacchus than I would be if they found evidence of your god.

I don't know God doesn't exist.
I don't know God exists.

I have insufficient evidence, so I make no conclusion. I am the irrefutable agnostic; either God exists, or God does not exist.

I believe this is the logical position of the true scientist.

Having said that, I don't place the question of God's existence very high on my list of priorities. I'm sure if God did exist, God wouldn't care whether or not we believed God existed as much as whether or not we were ethical people.

Because no evidence exists to prove he does. Not too mention the silly idea of a god is EXTREMELY ridiculous.

You are a liar, you have no way of knowing you can only speculate he exists.

Praying and doing nothing produce the exact same results. Go ahead knock yourself out. Could you please pray for your god to come down and suck my johnson?

That's a rather hypocritical statement. How can you possibly know he exists? Why would you even say things that are so open-ended proof reading your arguments is an important skill.
And now watch as the Religious give me thumbs down even though everything I said is undeniable.
