Tell them to be a true christian and follow the teachings of a true religion which based its teachings only on the bible.
But how can you convince people ,non believers to go with you ? By merely looking at the avatar which you have displayed everybody is afraid already to come near you bec ause of the cross you have put in your avatar.
According to the roman catholic encyclopedia the cross is a sign for them to remove away evil spirit from the place, so you are driving out the devils in this yahoo answerers and if they will be drove out, there are no more nonbelievers that will answer you.

trying to convert people just makes them run faster the other way....... and I am Christian! I never try to convert anyone. One has to make the choice themselves with God to do so. My best advice is to talk about how great God is and what Jesus has done for you... real life things we can all relate too. Don't force the word on anyone. Never tell someone they will go to hell, or pretend like you know what will happen to them if they don't 'convert'... that is up to God and not us!
Have a Blessed Day!

The Internet is full of lost people, and converting them all is silly for just one person to do. It is the little steps that counts. I often give my testimony on-line. And can only pray that that will help them to see that life is just a temporary assignment here on Earth and that we have much more to look forward to. Hope this helped and God Bless.

First thing you should do is put aside your belief for a moment. Then I would try to get the other person or "lost soul" as you put it to just believe in faith and hope.. when that person begins to believe again then you have done what you were meant to do and you take your belief and you ask your God to give this person strength and guidance so that they can find their own path. Be happy that you accomplished a good deed. Now move on to the next person!
Just some advise..unless they ask about your belief don't force it upon them you can lead them but then you have to leave the rest up to them.
Blessed Be!

Maybe we could throw in a coupon for a free Big Mac, some donuts, or a free gallon of gasoline.
The threat of eternal damnation and hellfire has worked pretty well for the last 2000 years, or so.

What exactly are you saving people from? Why not get clear on that first.
Isn't it that you want to try and save people from the wrath and judgment of your God! A God that you call all loving and merciful!
A God that set up original sin as obtaining the knowledge of good and evil. Knowledge in itself doesn't cause one to have a disposition towards good or evil only the ability to make a choice between the two! Without that knowledge we would be incapable of making a single choice for ourselves!
Is the ability to make a choice really something we need to apologize for?
Doesn't Christianity say that we are here to choose between God and Satan? How can you make such a choice without the knowledge of good and evil?
Knowledge GOD wanted us to not have!
So who exactly is the evil one in this here? Looks to me like it is GOD!

You can't convert anyone that doesn't want to be converted. All you can do is answer any question they have and be insightful and respectful. The rest, is up to them. You need to be a drinking fountain where they can come to drink, not a river that drowns them.

Your logo says it all.
Jesus saves.
Not you or us.
He doesn't need our help.
Relax and let Him do His Job.
It is His Job.
John 16:8 "And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment;
Who is that?
It isn't you.
Don't say no to the word.

We can't save anyone. Not even ourselves. It is only Jesus Christ who can move in the hearts of the lost.
Our job is to sow seed. God gives the increase. (I Corinthians 3:6)
