The top is really cute, very dressy. I'd find a pretty skirt, or a pair of dressy pants to wear with it. The top is very tailored looking, I'd find bottoms that were tailored, too.
I'd pick something tailored for your hair, too, something simple and upswept.
Do you know how to make jewelry? Find some earings and a bracelet that echo the polka dot theme, something round, and black. You don't need a necklace, with the bow and the polka dot shirt.
And some cute heels and matching purse would be great.
Have fun!

If you're wearing that top, I would probably opt for either a skirt (at or below the knee) or nice dress pants. Jeans aren't really appropriate for an opera or other theater performance.
As long as your hair is neat and clean, you can do what you feel comfortable with. Be conservative though, both with your hair and how you dress.
A good rule of thumb is to dress similar to the way you would dress if you were going to a church service.

You have great taste and you know exactly what fits and compliments your age. Wonderful! Yes, a simple black or champagne skirt would go perfectly, but also, if you have long dressy pants that look like skirt, with a champagne shoes and purse- will look very French, stylish-posh and chic. In regard to your hair, if you have long hair let it free , but if your hair is short then cheer it up with some nice curls.
Have the best of times!

I would wear a nice cocktail dress to the opera. I would stick with a solid color and go to a local store to purchase one. I just bought one at Marshalls that cost me $25 and it was beautiful and priceless. I wore this dress to a Marine Corps banquet in Quantico, VA. I got so many compliments and no one would have guessed that I spent so little money for my dress. Please do not wear jeans to the opera, that is a no-no. Don't worry you will look like a million bucks.

Wear a nice black flowy-type skirt and some strappy heals. Put your hair up in a half-twist. Have lots of fun!! :)

Pretty top, but it's hard to match black
with black for a skirt. Hmmm

with that top you may want to go with a nice skirt that goes with your polka dotted area. like a champaign color. for your hair go with your hair down in lose curls or with your hair up in a pony tail with a nice decoration. something preferably with pearls.
