Well the simple answer is no scoliosis cannot stunt your growth it makes you look like your shorter because is curves your spine. As for breaking bones no breaking bones won't stunt it ethier. Nor will being punched in the elbow, knee or backbone that will just cause pain. And sports are good for most people, but they generally don't have much to do with growing, taller anyways just muscle wise. As far as breaking your growth plates you can break any bone in your body. Free weights will not affect growth and neither will lifting heavy things whether long term or short just possibly cause back pain if your not lifting correctly. Hope this amswers your questions.
