What if a person swears on their soul and breaks their oath? Can this deal even be possible?

Think of soul as a living person
you do not have a living person, you are a living person. You are a soul.
The Hebrew word translated “soul” is ne′phesh, and it occurs 754 times in the Hebrew Scriptures. What does ne′phesh mean? According to The Dictionary of Bible and Religion, it “usually refers to the entire living being, to the whole individual.” This is borne out by the Bible’s description of the soul at Genesis 2:7

If you break an oath that has been sworn on a soul then really want can happen but the lose of a good friend. One would truly hope that there was a extremely good reason why someone would do this, if not then they were never a true friend anyway.

You can swear on your soul and break the oath. It is possible because people have done it tons of times.
Nothing will happen. NOW, however, you're gonna have to live with the knowledge that you gave someone your word, your HONOR if you will, and you betrayed him/her/them.
It's never been about God punishing you. It's about YOU understanding what it means to take responsibility for your actions and do the RIGHT thing for the sole purpose that it is RIGHT. And your idea of RIGHT may not be what's written word for word in some holy book.

You can swear on anything and break the oath. When is the oath tethered to the soul? Nothing's stopping you from breaking it.
