...to college girls. I know losing weight and exercising are the best ways, but what are others (if any)?

Be tall. That's what girls find most attractive. They won't even notice short guys.

When girls look like neanderthals - you know the type that doesn't really have the common sense of what looks good? The type that has frizzy, un-straightened hair and and ponytail. And, I hope I don't upset too many girls by saying this, but a fat belly or basically signs that you don't work out or do any exercise at all is a huge turn off. If I'm being really honest and picky? Girls without a figure. Hour glass is best - Ironing board is not.

well, you're avatar pictures shows that you're a girl, so i'm confused. but anyways, a guy's looks are important, but so is who he is. let's say the guy loses some pounds, puts on a nice, casual outfit, and walks up to a girl. he still has to know what to say. so, to make a college guy more attractive, he should learn to be confident and comfortable around girls and make them feel special. be nice, but not too pushy

Speaking as someone a few years older, but who remembers her college years rather well, *I* personally never worried so much about whether he had a 6-pack and more about whether he could make me laugh and was smart enough to keep up with me. Creative, witty, respectful, and funny go a LONG way....sometimes more so than the guy who "looks good." CHIN up

Begin by wearing a nice suttle cologne, with nice clean clothing. You will smile at the girls and say hi when you walk by them. When you find one that you are most interested in, talk to her (without anyone else around). If you find you like her, just ask her out to a cafe for a soda or coffee. Good luck.

Be self confident but not cocky. Self confidence is amazingly sexy! A sense of humor doesn't hurt either. Also, treat her like a lady and she can't help but like you in return.

It's all about confidence. There are plenty of unattractive overweight alcoholics that get all the dates they want because they are confident. Imagine how much attention could get if he had confidence and more.
