Why would this be? Sometimes we go months with out having sex, sometimes I think that is is ok only because I love him so much but then I think to myself is this how the rest of my life will be? Could it have something to do with him being over weight or high cholesteral?

being overweight will hurt his performance in bed but it should have nothing to do with him being horny or not same with the cholesterol.A point to ponder though,if you can not get your sex drives closer then you may lead a very frustrating life with this person.Speaking from experience a high sex drive needs to be satisfied and if you do not get it at home you will find it elseware, soooo think about fixing things before you tie the knot.Try doing most of the work next time you have sex(ride him you on top) take charge see if things change

Actually it can be medical and it is a big issue. Have him see his doctor. There are prescription drugs that lower a person's interest.

But it is a big issue. Don't make it a small issue because it is not. This is an important part of a relationship. It can also be an indication that there is something very wrong with him. My wife and I have sex only a couple of times each year and it causes me a lot of stress. She was likely abused and the sexual relationship got worse with time and not better.

Don't ruin your life, cross your t-s and dot your i-s. Life is long and you will be tested I can assure you!

you are probably right on both counts... denying you is selfish at most, and unthoughtful at the least... again talk with him, perhaps low self esteem or medical reasons could be the reason.... sex starts way before the act, love is even longer...
make a relaxing setting, become intimate again, talk laugh, relax and remember the feelings you had when you both first met.

it is normal for men to feel some pressure about satisfying their partner... most men experience this from time to time, just take your time... you should talk this out anywhere but the bedroom, that room is reserved for fun and not so much serious talking

Maybe he is asexual. There seems to be more and more of the Moz types these days. Some asexuals still like to be with the opposite sex but don't want to carry out the physical act.

If he is overwiehgt then maybe he is insecure about having sex. If you want it then take it, initiate it.....im surprised at how so many couples dont have that open coominucation especially if they are set to get married. Months?? i think you need to talk to him if my first piece of advice doesnt work

Some people have a lower sex drive. It sucks. But maybe if he did get in shape, he'll start feeling better about himself. Then he can start making you feel better.

there is a high percentage that it could be that. just give him time and he'll come around. another reason could be that he has low stamina.
