I think that all churches should have to conform to Truth in Advertising laws.

First of all, you are blaming God for everything that is wrong with the world. But, if you read Leviticus, you will see the rules laid out to sue a brother in your church, and the proper proceedures for so doing. Yes, if you can prove that the church you go to is leading you away from the destination you prefer, you can sue the church. But you must make a plausible defence based on the Bible or the source of your faith, whether it be Christian, or Hindu, etc.

Some might argue that there would have been many more tragedies had not god or angels intervened.
In the words of Hank Hannegraff, the death rate is one per person. We all have to die, and whose to say that the child isn't better off in some imaginary heaven?
I agree that there are many fraudulent Christian ministries, but most don't offer healing or protectiono from evil in return for cash. Start by suing those who do.

You can't sue the church unless you specified on the check what you want it to go for. It is just general budget money otherwise.
If you give money to a church and specify what it is to be used for, it must be used that way or you can sue.
You cannot sue over money that someone else gave to the church, and I doubt that you have been given any lately.
God has a grand plan, and He does intervene to keep that plan on track. Otherwise He allows people to reap what they sow.

How have the Christian churches actually harmed or defrauded you, personally? You'd have to be able to prove that legally, and I'm not real sure how you're going to call God as a witness.
The travel expenses and phone bill alone will be a lot more than the settlement.

Fraud for what? To you? What have they done to you.Did you give them money? Christian religions are not all connected together so you would have to sue thousands.lol Gee what a lazy way to try to make some money. The Judge would laugh in your face and even the money hungry lawyers would run the other way. No you cannot. But you can get documents to make your baptism voided. You will send them to your local Church authority and if you are in luck in a couple of years your name will be taken off the Christian records. You may not believe this but it is true and it is possible to do it. Documents and info can be found here :

Don't have a clue on what use it would be to do it but actually you can.

Probably not, but there are lawsuits in court right now about Prez Bush's faith-based initiatives. Verdict should be out late June, I think.

If you have enough money you can sue anyone.
What would be your defense "I'M STUPID-and just kept putting money in the plate?"
You're an adult (I guess) get up and leave and don't go back.
