I played soccer all through higschool. I was average weight and healthy. Senior year for some unknown reason I gained 5-10 pds. Than I went to college gained another 12 pds (was not playing soccer every day) that summer ran everyday a mile for a month and lost 6 pds. Next year at school gained it back plus 10 more pds. Maintained that weight for rest of college. Gradated college, joined a gym and play soccer on a team once a week. Still notice all my old jeans are tight. I do not understand.....I work out more now than I did in college...so why do I continue to gain weight if I excercise more. I also drink (booze)way less!!! Very confused..

i hear you!! if you're not majoring in sports, most of the students will gain weight. with all that studying, partying, and good foods at school and near campus (made especially for college students). i think i gained weight 10-15lbs the first year with major beer belly! now that my schedule has changed, im availble in the mornings, i take yoga and tae bo classes. this is what i recommend.

i lost 15lbs in 5 days

1)jogging every morning (haw far? depends on your stamina)
2)tae bo 5 times a week (1hr)
3)hot yoga twice a week (1hr 30mins - to strech and relax your muscles from tae bo and jogging)

eat healthy and drink at least 80 ounces of water a day.

eating jalapenos and taking 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar will boost your metabolism!

-i feel toned and really healthy =)

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

I easily understand the type you sense! i've got continually enjoyed those one hundred calorie packs - they're sufficiently small to seize once you're leaving and don't soak up lots room interior the cabinets. Yogurts, applesauce, pre-made salads...all of those are smallish. now and lower back if i'm working previous due, i gets a SlimFast. it is better than combating by using Burger King in the previous classification!

your metabolism is not as fast as it used to be. Just cut down on your quantities. Eat slowly, chew your food well
