A real Christian would not be afraid to follow Jesus' teachings and turn the other cheek.

truthfully, it's not guns people want... just power. there is no single item that strikes fear and impliments death just like a gun. no doubt they are sometimes needed (ie. law enforcement, defensive war)

when crazies have guns and they know that the large chance is that nobody else in a givven area has a gun they use them.
when they know that everybody has a gun they also know that people will shoot back. so they refrain from useing them.
everybody in this country should own a gun of some kind. be it a hunting rifle or a handgun. if criminals knew that every ouse in the country had a gun in it they would be less likely to break into people's homes. and much less inclined to attempt armed robbery.

If only one person in that classroom had a pistol, there wouldn't have been nearly as much carnage as their was.
What have we come to in America? We've neutered a whole generation! When that jerk stopped to reload, not one person in the execution line tried to stop him. When he was reloading, he was vulnerable. But no one had the backbone necessary to disarm him, because "guns are icky."
If he'd thought even one person might be armed, he might have avoided the idea altogether. Ask any convict, and they'll tell you, they won't attack an armed person.
The founding fathers should be rolling over in their graves right now.

I have guns.. not for people or protection but for hunting.. it happens that I like fresh meat (cows are easiest to hunt.. JUST KIDDING!).. I haven't hunted in many years but I keep the guns because they belonged to my father and it is all that I have that was his.
