Based on this quote from the Bible: "Therefore I say unto you What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them and ye shall have them." So"~Mark 11:24 manifesting is a form of prayer. But has anyone tried it and had results? How do you keep the faith when things seem to go against what you are trying to manifest?

You constantly manifest. You do so based upon your beliefs, emotions, feelings, and expectations. "Trying" implies effort, and there is no effort in mind.

What seems to go against...is a reflection of your own doubt/fear/lack of faith, whatever term you'd like to use.

If you can understand that you have always made your own reality as you know it, then you will better understand how to do it on a conscious level.

I saw that film the secret and learned a bit about Law of Attraction. It's about manifesting things, your thoughts become your reality. Like if you think positive you attract positive if you think negative you attract negative. I'm still a bit skeptical, but things happen sometimes that makes me wonder. Like my anxiety depression has got a lot better since changing my thinking I think. Also I got a lot of tip at work lol and found the model of car I wanted and won it off ebay. I do kinda believe it a bit, but still testing it out.

Manifesting does work. It's based on the creative visualization powers we all have access to.

Read "The Silva Method of Mind Control". Stuff manifests literally. You truly have to be careful what you wish for if you cocreate (manifest your thoughts).

You receive it in your heart, sometimes, not in the physical world as you would expect. Example: As a parent, I will not always give in to the whims of my daughter because then she would not learn certain things like working hard, sharing, etc....so, I think we gain things in the heart/soul vs. the physical world, but God is always there for us either way.
