Cooked bowling ball can be kind of tough and woody so you have to follow these instructions carefully.
1) Wash and gently pat dry your balls thoroughly (if you're going to take the time to do one, you might at well do 2).
2) Marinate in your favorite sauce for 24 to 48 hours.
3) Slow cook in a roaster for 5 hours at least. Slow cooking makes your balls nice and tender!
4) Take out and let sit for about 10 minutes for nice, juicy balls. Carve and enjoy!

For extra flavor, may I suggest a side of braised pins!!

You'll have to put it in a crematorium for a while, but not as long as people have to stay in there--you do want it to have *some* texture left. Once it's cooled down and you sift it, take the ashes/small bits and boil them for an hour or so with some onion, a bay leaf and some Old Bay seasoning. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking liquid. Quickly sautee the remaining chunks of the bowling ball in a smoking hot pan with about 1 cup of lard for 2 - 3 minutes. Stir in the remaining cooking liquid that you've reserved and boil hard until liquid is reduced to syrup consistency. Serve over lima beans or egg noodles.

Stuff the finger holes with butter, bouillion cubes, and sprigs of fresh herbs. Put the ball to soak/baste in a ball washer for several runs, then remove. Fire in a kiln at a minimum of 600 degrees F for a few hours, then spoon into ramekins. Bake until set.

Sour cream with a bit of dill makes a delightful topping.

Hmmmmm. I think I understand. You want the demons out of that ball right? So you want to cook the hell out of it! Hmmm...put it in big pot of water and boil it or throw it in the fire place for a few hours. Yep, that oughta do it.........
