Wash them first. That way you don't have any frozen bugs and debris to wash off when you are ready to use them. You'll have to wash them anyway so better to do it before freezing.

Actually the best way to freeze any berry is to wash them off first (to get the pesticides off and dirt ...)
Then to lay them out ( while still wet) on a cookie sheet in the freezer for about an hour - once frozen take them out and put them into a zip lock baggie and they should keep great.
I've done this with Blueberries and Strawberries alot and they don't get mushy and come out individually for the most part later.
Another thing you may want to do is add a bit of sugar to some water after rinsing and let them sock for a few minutes then do the same as above. It gives them as nice bit of sweetness when thawed later.

Personally, I would wash them, let them dry, then freeze them, but Im not sure if it matters.

no they last longer if you dont wash till use them .
