Well, i always wandered if it was possible that when i die, they
could throw me into the ocean, that way my body can visit other places, you might think this is stupid, but i think its a cool idea, i just want to be able to travel to places, dead or alive.

I believe that you CAN have a burial at sea.. but you'd have to find out who would perform the burial (I think it has to be at least a specific distance out to sea before they can do it)

If you are cremated you can scatter your ashes in the ocean, not sure about the whole casket, I doubt it. Dont think that would be a good idea

Uhhhh, I wouldn't think so....the casket would be considered litter....why not go through cremation and have your ashes scattered in the ocean...it would be the same effect.

I think from an American standpoint it is illegal to pollute the ocean in such a fashion. However, in other cultures and countries I am sure it is possible.

You could have your friends and loved ones tie you down with weights and chains and toss you over the side of the boat like Tony Soprano does.

I doubt it. You can get your ashes thrown in the ocean though if you are cremated.
