There is no way to diagnose your puppy's ailment here, Honey. But she does sound sick. In fact, you might want to check for emergency vet numbers in your area: Chihuahuas can be a bit fragile.

Is her food one of the varieties on recall? One of my friends also has a chihuahua who refused to eat the tainted food. But that wouldn't account for your puppy's odd way of walking. That could be an injured paw, a problem with her hip, or even something wrong with her spine.

Good luck!

Hypoglycemia...

Hypoglycemia is a condition in which the chihuahua's blood sugar level drops to an extremely low level, causing "sugar shock." When levels of glucose in the blood drop rapidly, the dog's body and brain are deprived of essential nutrients. The results of hypoglycemia can be weakness, seizures, coma, and in severe cases, death.

Because chihuahuas are so small, they can be prone to hypoglycemia, especially when they are very young. Hypoglycemia is usually caused by stress, illness, lack of food, or by using up stored energy without it being replenished.

It is important to make sure that young puppies and very tiny chihuahuas eat regularly throughout the day. Another preventative for hypoglycemia is regular feeding of a high-calorie supplement called Nutrical, available from your veterinarian or your local pet store.

Get something into her that has some sugar in it like honey.Although I personally would preffer you used something with more protein than that and nutrical is a good choice.
Sorry I did not see my mail until just now and someone said I should look for this question.

Also always leave dry kibble with the puppy it will give her something to play with and she will be able to self regualte her sugar levels. So the puppy has water and dry kibble 24/7 and you can feed her some nice chicken or mighty dog caned to spoil her for dinner or snacks. But kibble at all times, and a separtate bowl of water.

Did you deworm her yourself after reading this question:

or did you have the vet do it?

If you really care about your dog, find an emergency vet's office and call them instead of asking the folks on Answers. A 10 week old Chihuahua who hasn't been eating much doesn't have a whole lot of reserve energy to draw on while you're screwing around on the internet.

Call all vets in the area until you find a message machine listing the nearest ER vet, then rush her there PRONTO. 'Walking weird' and not having an appetite could be a huge # of issues, many of them that need immediate treatment. 10 week old pups do not have the physical 'reserve' to let possibly huge problems like this go untreated for a day or two- delaying treatment could KILL your pup. GET TO AN ER VET!

Her blood sugar may be too low. if you have some karo syrup in the house then dip your finger into the bottle and not alot just a little and place it in her mouth. If this doesnt help then tomorrow get her to your vets ok.

Was she de-wormed. Pups automatically get worms from the Mother's milk. There are pet vet websites you can look at.

force her to eat. Take baby food and mix it with chicken broth, make it soupy and feed her. A small baby like that needs to eat frequent little beals or their glucose goes too low.

there's always a vet on call somewhere. Hopefully she hasn't gotten into any rat poison. It will kill a dog, especially one that small.
