How can i obtain written witness statements before i go to court?

I was involved in a bar fight (that i didnt start) and am being charged with battery. I know there were witnesses that gave written statements and i want to know if i can get a copy of those statements before i go to court? If i can how do i do it?

If you have an attorney, a copy can be requested after they are entered into evidence.

Your lawyer can get those by filing a discovery motion.
If you don't have a lawyer, get one.
If you can not afford a lawyer, one will be provided for you.
