I have looked into getting a Visa but they are generally for people that have lived together for over a year...and we haven't. Can anyone give me some good advice? Please dont' tell me to buy a plane ticket!!!

i suggest you check the visa requirements --- i have not seen that you need to be together for a year --- only that you have met --- there are other criteria that need to be met but there are immigration agents in australia that can help --- best wishes --- im looking at moving my lady to australia as well

well..if you are i wouldn't move to australia for a guy you met over the internet. He might be some 60 year old man.

U should go visit him. And u should be able to get a visa to visit Australia. I dunno what country u are in now, but in Canada it's easy to visit Australia.
Then if u stay a year then maybe u can do more...and u will know if u really want to stay with him or not.
