Personally I think sex is one of the best things ever. I know people are gonna say there is more to life and a relationship besides sex. I totally agree with that. Your emotional connections should always come first in a relationship and they are most important. But I hear some people(primarily women) saying that sex is over rated and that they don't need sex as much as a guy. I've always said that was a lie. Is sex really over rated or is it just the individuals viewing of sex, if so why are they like that?

no its not over rated --- its a good part of anyrelationship and can help you get closer --- i suspect those ladies that shy away from it have been burned badly and have yet to find a considerate caring lover --- one who cares for their pleasure more than his own

If someone says sex is over rated, then they are just not doing it right! I agree with you that it is not the number 1 priority in a relationship, but enhances the relationxship and definantly helps you grow closer together as an couple. People who say it's not that important, are one of the following
1. are just shy
2. have never had good sex
3. are virgins

Sex is in no way overrated. It's amazing, but it's true, women don't need intercourse as much men. Most women need more effort and mood than sex. So if they got a really intimate time without sex they'd probably prefer that more than just "get to the point" sex.

People who say sex is overrated are not getting GOOD sex!!!! Or are turned off to sex because of some traumatic experience.
