Listen, THIS is the truth about acne:
It's not washing your face.
It's not abstaining from greasy food.

It's washing your face, and washing your HANDS before you touch your face especially after you eat greasy food. You eat a juicy burger, get the grease on your hands, lick the grease off - but it's still there a little, and then scratch your forehead - the grease gets in the pores, and BANG, you got zits.

No, I don't know about that stuff the doc gave you, and I would not contradict a doctor, at least most of the time, but this is what worked for me.

if he is a dermatologist, I certainly think he knows what is best for your skin.
He has seen it and has given you a treatment....
you have to see a acne to know what kind it is and how to treat it.
