I SHARED A SMALL JOKE WITH MY BOYFRIEND'S BROTHER, AND HIS BROTHER SAID THAT I SAID THAT THE REASON WHY HE NOT SPEAKING TO MY FRIEND IS BECAUSE SHE HAVE A BOYRIEND. WHILE WE WERE SPEAKING MY BOYFRIEND BROTHER SAID THAT STATEMENT.AT THE MOMENT I DID NOT FEEL LIKE CORRECTING WHAT HE SAID OR TELLING HIM WHY MY BOYFRIEND WAS NOT SPEAKING TO MY FRIEND. I LAUGH AGREED AND SPECIFICALLY REFERRED TO MY BOYFRIENDS FRIEND AS BEING THE ONE WHO STOP SPOKE TO MY FRIEND BECAUSE SHE GOT A BOYFRIEND....MY BOYFRIEND WAS STINKING MAD WITH ME WHEN HIS BROTHER THROUGH THE STATEMENT THAT I SUPPOSEDLY SAID IN HIS FACE,,,,,,,,........ADVICE

are these two different issues; because the first makes it appear that the father and the boyfriend are upset because you talked to the brother, and perhaps you're just too cool with the brother or they're uncomfortable with that fact. then you turn around and say that your boyfriend is mad at you because his brother tried to put you out there. it sounds like neither your boyfriend or his brother are worth the time; either his brother isn't really your friend, or you and your boyfriend were having issues anyway and this event just brought that to light.
it isn't that good of an idea to be that close to your bf/gf siblings. I'll talk to my wife's siblings, out of respect, but i don't have conversations with them that I can't have with my wife. like if i were in a weird situation outside of the relationship, or if they had sarcastic stuff to say about her i would never share that with her sisters. it's just a weird place to be in, because if someone is weird about your relationship to begin with that just builds their argument against you. before you know it you really are complaining about your bf/gf to the brother/sister and they're in the bf/gf ear telling them why you two aren't good together and then loyalty is split and so on and so forth. just bad karma; the next bf you have, because this one probably won't pan out, keep the inside jokes for your real friends, and not other family members.

You showed disrespect to the adult that asked you NOT to speak to your bf's brother. There must be a reason. Even if there isn't a reason, you still need to listen to the adult and their rules.
