does any know if your a day late mailing off your taxes if any thing will happen i do not owe & do not have to pay. no smart a$$ answers i just had to sign and mail out i just got them back today from my accountant

Im an accountant also. Nothing will happen to you if it's late if you don't owe and don't have to pay.

I see NOTHING in that EPA quote that says there is going to be a tax. Only the blogger's "this would lead to a new tax!" supposition. Right-wing bloggers opinions don't equate to fact.

If you don't owe, there's no penalty for filing late.

No penalty will be due if you are getting a refund on federal return. States, however may have different rules.
