Many many, years ago I found a large box of food, on my front porch...how that person knew I really didn't have enough $ for food I just don't know...but there it was... I will never forget this.

About a week or so before Christmas this year, I needed to put gas in my car. I'm in a wheelchair, and it was a cold, dank afternoon. I put as much as I could afford into the tank, then struggled to get inside the building.
I picked up a couple of things that I needed, then went up to the checkout to pay for them and the gas. The cashier rang up my purchases, but not the gas. I told him which pump it was, and he shook his head, "There is no such pump."
Confused, I told him, "Well, it's whatever number pump that that white car is sitting by out there."
He grinned and said, "The guy on Pump Three paid for your gas."
That made my day and my whole Christmas!

Very often. While I was relocated because of hurricane Katrina, I was shopping in a discount store for some necessities. When the cashier overheard my conversation with another customer and realized I was an evacuee, she rang up my purchase under her employee number to give me a discount.

Yes!! All the time, and I do random acts of kindness. I just took some food down to the homeless shelter today.

I was behind a black gentleman at a convenience store and he didn't have the correct change to make his purchase. He needed 38 cents! The cashier was adament. I gave it to him. Outside the store, the guy tried to give me a 100 dollar bill! No, I didn't take it.

I had 13 sheets of plywood in my pickup truck. I hit a bump on a busy 4 lane highway and lost all 13 sheets. I was by myself.
Some guy that didn't know me nor me him stopped his vehicle and helped me load my truck without saying a word.
Hundreds of vehicles passed blowing their horns in frustration.
God bless this good Samaritan.

I sure have, many many times. I can't remember every time, but I can say that I try each day to show the kindness to to others, that others have showed me.

these two young girls were standing on the street corner and to everyone they met, they said something good about them. "Hey, I like your coat!" they yelled at me. Surprised, and wondering if they were indeed addressing me, I slowed down abit and made sure it was me they were talking to. "Thanks," I said, and continued into the bank.
I was amused. They were cute.
