It depends on what you are taking, how much and how long you have been taking it. I know benzo's are really hard to get off of and withdrawal symptoms literally last for months. I would imagine the longer you have been taking it, the longer it would stay in your body. I have been taking benzos for 2 years. I started out at 10 mg 3 - 4 x day and am finally down to .25 mg per day. I had a drug test done a couple weeks ago and it showed up. Good Luck.

Meds such as Ativan, Xanax, Valium are usually very short live in the blood stream. Probably 7 to 10 days is long enough to clear your blood work
PS: If you have a prescription for these, you should not be worried about it.

It is variable...size of the person, amount ingested, kidney and liver function, how much other drugs and alcohol one consumes, tolerance...a person of average size with no medical conditions who takes an average dose with no other medications at the same time, including alcohol could expect the body to release these chemicals within 4-12 hrs...sorry, very vague but so were you
