about how long does it take for your refund to come back??

i've read that it can take up to 3 weeks?? but this question is to anyone whose done it already... how long has it took for some of u folks??

oh yea... and by the way it wuz all done online...

I efiled and had direct deposit and my refund was in my bank account 2 weeks later!

Can take longer if you file by mail, up to 6 weeks or a little more. If you efiled, 8-15 days if you use direct deposit, another week plus mail time if you have a check mailed to you.

Call the IRS 800 mnumber and they will give you the expected refund time and the status of your return and payment date when available.

in Aus, it can take up to 3 months, depending on when you lodged you return.

if you lodged it at the beginning it is quicker (like 5 days), if you lodge it on the last day it takes longer, because thats when everyone rushes theirs in.

in the states i assume it works on a similar system
