What are the chances of internal hemmorhoids developing because of my old habits of reading on the toilet??

Im 19 and just not stopped doing this, but i used to have this bad habit of reading on the toilet and i used to end up sitting on the toilet reading, sometimes as much as 30 min to 40 mins, and I used to do this practically every day.....What are the chances that this can give me internal hemmorhoids??

Umm None that I know of? Hemorrhoids usually occur if you are 'straining' to have a bowel movement, or constipated. My Father used to sit on the toilet reading and never had any hemorrhoid problem. As long as the bowel moves normally reading is not a problem. Some people enjoy reading while on the toilet, the only quiet place and time they can find.
