Do not let anyone in the house until she is sitting behind you. You must be between the door and the dog. You need to show her that you are the boss of the houseand the leader of the pack!!! Tell her to stay. Answer the door, but if she gets up, close the door (make your company wait) and make her sit and stay again. You can give her treats for good behavior. Repeat this until she sits and stays and you are able to open the door with her listening to you. If you are able to do this, give her a treat, but also give your company treats to give to her. She should be allowed to sniff your company, but never jump on them. If she goes to jumping on them, make her sit and stay behind you again. Allow your company to give her orders as well, ask them to tell her 'down' and 'sit. When she listens, they can give her a treat. Have treats ready and available at your door. Your company may wonder what the heck you are doing, but they will thank you for it later.

If you have already had him to Obedience Training, then put his leash on (arrange for a friend to come over and help) and use the sit-stay at the door. Tell your guests that you're teaching him to accept a greeting properly and have them offer to pat him. If he moves correct him back to the sit-stay and try again. It takes several practice sessions to get the dog to accept a pat on the head without jumping to the greeting but with consistency and repetition, they will.
If you haven't had him to Obedience Training, then sign up for a group class. Learn to use the sit-stay effectively and ask the other students to offer greeting in the above manner. You'd be surprised how people with a similar problem are willing to help a stranger.
Good Luck.

Get yourself and the dog into obedience training. Your dog is being allowed by you to do this. Have a 6 foot leash on him at all times and don't allow him to jump on people by not letting him be the fist on at the door. Take the leash and place it on the floor and put your foot on the leash so he isn't able to jump on anything.

This is all covered in basic obedience training.

Ignore her when she jumps up. Completely ignore her. Turn your back so that she lands her paws on your back. She is looking for attention, so don't give her any. "Attention" includes speaking to her (even if you are saying negative things or yelling), kneeing her in the chest (also that's just mean), making eye contact, and making physical contact. Then, when she does do what you want (sitting, probably), then give her what she was looking for: attention! Pet her, make happy noises, give her treats if you want to. Pretty soon, she will learn that sitting is the way to get attention, and jumping up is the way to get ignored.

Be mindful: you have to get other people to do this, too, which is harder than it sounds.

consistancy is key. when people are coming in, have her on her lead and keep it short. if she starts to jump, gently but firmly pull it back and tell her off. sternly. i wouldn't use the down command as it can be confused with down as in lie down. let her say hello to company. after they are there for a little while, you should be able to let her off lead.

Purchase a training collar aka "shock collar" (Foster's & Smith catalog carries them) . Follow the directions, keep it on low, and each time there is an attempt you say "off" if no response you give them a slight zap.
