Have you gone to the doctore yet? One time when I had an earache it turned out there was wax build up in the opposite ear. Get a bulb syringe (I know there are at least some in the baby supplies aisle of the store), fill it with warm water and gently squirt it in the ear opposite the achy one.
I remember when I was a kid my mom had some liquid she put directly in my ear to help it, maybe you can look for it in the medicine aisle, or ask a pharmacist.

I have chronic swimmer's ear - which has nothing to do with swimming necessarily, it just means water gets trapped there and causes infection.
So, I take a solution of half alcohol and have white/blank vinegar, and pour it in my ear for 60 seconds.
The vinegar changes the Ph level to a point where bacteria has difficulty reproducing, and the alcohol dries up the fluid so the bacteria has nowhere to live.
If it moves into your throat, do hot salt-water gargle ever 15 minutes until the pain is gone, and then every few hours for a few days.

I would recommend having this earache evaluated by a dr to see if an infection is causing it or something else could be causing it.

If it is due to infection medicines (antibiotics) for 3 days will give the result.
If it is not due to infection it must be due to nerve problem or blockage of Vital Energy flow. For that Acupuncture is the only solution. So beware of docs; they will unnecessarily push you to OT.

if you don't want to take painkilling medicine, then mixing a few drops of pure lavender oil with a little olive or regular oil works best. just put a couple drops in the affected ear...but always mix lavender oil with a neutral oil, it is far too potent to use by itself.
