nah... skip the extra virgin olive oil in brownies. The oil has too strong of a flavor for brownies.

Yes. Olive oil has flavor not like vegetable oil which is basically tasteless. So brownies will have a slight olive oil taste to them.

yes, I had that same problem one time and I used extra virgin olive oil and the brownies came out exactly the same as they would when u used reg. veggy oil.

The more virgin, the more it will tase like olives. Try an olive oil that is much more experienced.

i would not use any olive oil for baking, this oil has a funny after taste in the cake, use veggie or canola oil,

I've done it before and they ended up with a very strong taste from the oil. I'm a chocolate freak, though, and can't stand to taste anything other than chocolate!

Yup, shouldn't make a difference unless it's some type of family recipe in which case I would follow it exactly.....other wise you might not get what you are expecting

it will work but, i mean you usually can't taste the oil so it'll do.
