Creamy Lemon Cake
INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package lemon cake mix
1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored gelatin mix
1 cup boiling water
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 (3 ounce) package instant lemon pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan. Poke holes in cake while still hot with the round handle of a wooden spoon. Make gelatin with only 1 cup of boiling water. Pour liquid gelatin over cake while hot. Cool cake completely.
Beat together whipped topping, pudding mix, milk and vanilla extract. Pour mixture over cooled cake and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Crazy Chocolate Cake
INGREDIENTS
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
5/8 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups cold water
2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
2/3 cup vegetable oil
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients right in a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 35 minutes. Remove from oven and cool. Frost with your favorite frosting.
Honey Bun Cake
INGREDIENTS
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
3/4 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
2 cups confectioners' sugar
4 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream. Stir by hand approximately 50 strokes, or until most large lumps are gone. Pour half of the batter into an ungreased 9x13 inch glass baking dish. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle over the batter in the cake pan. Spoon the other half of the batter into the cake pan, covering the brown sugar and cinnamon. Twirl the cake with a butter knife or icing knife until it looks like a honey bun (or whatever design you want to make).
Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Frost cake while it is still fairly hot.
To Make the frosting: In a small bowl, whisk together the confectioner's sugar, milk and vanilla until smooth.
Yum Yum Cake
INGREDIENTS
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cup milk
1 (16 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
DIRECTIONS
Bake yellow cake mix according to instructions on package in a 15x10 inch jelly roll pan. Allow to cool.
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, pudding mix and milk. beat until smooth and spread on cooled cake. Sprinkle drained pineapple on top of pudding.
Spread whipped topping over pineapple. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Chill in refrigerator.
I tried to give you a variety to choose from, and ones that are pretty easy to make. I hope this helps. :)

What I would do is just buy a cake mix from the store and follow the directions. You can get any decorations that you want from the cake or you can simply get frosting and put it on there the way you like. If I gave you a recipe it may be too complicated but if you want it let me know.

This cake is a family favorite and doesnt last long....
It is quick and easy....
Pig Out Cake
1 yellow cake mix
1 can manadarin oranges, undrained
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
Icing:
12 oz coolwhip
1 sm. pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 lg can crushed pineapple, undrained
Combine cake ingredients and mix well. Bake in rectangle pan at 350' for 30 minutes or until inserted tooth pick comes out clean. Combine icing ingredients and spread on cooled cake.

If this is your first time making a cake I also suggest you use a packet cake mix. One with all the ingredients AND a frosting inside the packet. When you feel a little more adventurous you might like to use the packet mix and add some little touches of your own. After that, you can either puchase or look on the internet for an easy cake to make. Don't be disheartenend if it doesn't work the first time. Cooking takes practice. Good luck xxx

Here you go...
Banana Pudding Cake
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding
1 box instant banana pudding
4 eggs
1 cup water
1/4 cup oil
3 mashed bananas
Mix all together. Beat on low speed for at least 3 minutes
Bake in Bundt pan for 1 hour at 350.
-------AND...
Root Beer Float Cake
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle root beer
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup confectioners` sugar
3 tablespoons root beer
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together the cake mix, 12 ounces root beer, oil and eggs until smooth. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake in pan for 15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely. Poke holes in the cake with a skewer at 2 inch intervals. Pour Root Beer Glaze evenly over cake.
To make the Root Beer Glaze: combine the confectioners sugar and 3 tablespoons of root beer in a small bowl. Beat until smooth.

20 oz. can crushed pineapple in juice
20 oz. can cherry pie filling
18.25 oz. box yellow cake mix
1/4 cup butter OR margarine - sliced
-Dump pineapple and its juice, then pie filling, then cake mix into a 13" X 9" X 2" baking pan.
-Dot the top of the cake mix with the butter slices.
-Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.

Use the recipe that Kim a, just listed. It sounds delicious and it's different so I can bet she won't have another cake like that. Your school sounds so nice, I wish I would get a bunch of cakes on my birthday!!

Just try a box cake and canned frosting. It will be the easiest. Or it doesnt really have to be cake... you could bake birthday brownies (I love brownies). The box ones are just fine. I add chocolate chips to mine.

Betty Crocker box cake...doesn't take very long at all, and tastes like homemade. I make them all the time for work and always get compliments! If you want to go the extra mile, then go to Michaels and get some decorations to top it off. =) They have a special cake aisle. Have fun!!

Easy German Chocolate Cake:
50 min 30 min prep
8-10 servings
1 9x13 pan
1 German chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 jar caramel ice cream topping
1 container Cool Whip
2/3 cup coconut
1/2 cup pecan pieces
1. Bake cake mix as directed.
2. Remove from oven.
3. Using a fork, poke holes all over top of cake.
4. pour sweentened condensed milk over cake, spread evenly.
5. pour carmel topping over cake, spread evenly.
6. refrigerate until completely cooled.
7. spread cool whip over top of cake.
8. combine coconut and pecan pieces.
9. Sprinkle evenly over top.
