How does one have a bad day with a pole in the water and not a care in the world? If they meant by the term "good" day at work that it compares to fishing in any way.....sorry cant relate! So the only thing I can conclude is:
A: There is no such thing as a bad day fishing (unless one foolishly brings and answers a cell phone....that would be their own stupidity, not the fault of fishing) &
B: When does doing something that is required on a daily basis ever constitute "good" (other than providing funds for fishing and lifes necessary evils). Do they consider their monthy bills "good"?
So the answer has to be YES! Any day fishing is better than any day working!
See Ya'll at the fishin' hole!

My thoughts on that statement are that even if I had a bad of fishing, I was still outdoors, somewhere I love to be. A good day at work is still that, a day at work.

I've never had a bad day of fishing (unless "bad" means getting skunked, soaked, and bloodied), but plenty of good days at work. I think you need to get a better job.
But then, a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at work.

I was going to ream you out big-time, but the way you word the question makes me laugh out loud!
Similarly, I have never had a bad day skiing (even the time I sprained my shoulder), or a bad day golfing (despite those putter marks I left on the greens), a bad day sitting around the house twiddling my thumbs, etc.

I think you need to change jobs if you never have a good day. A bad day of fishing is always better unless you fall overboard and drown or screw up your outboard.

But what if you're a charter captain, and a good day at work IS a bad day fishing? Think about -that- one for a while.......

It is possible is you love to fish and enjoy being out on the water in your boat instead of being locked up in a building slaving to make others richer
