And my boyfriend is not a U.S. Citizen but he is a legal resident, would he need his passport from country of citizenship?

Yep passport is required for all non us citizens!

Normally you would not need a passport for a cruise to the Bahamas as long as it is completed before the end of this year. Since your boyfriend is not a US citizen I suggest that you visit the US passport office's web site to get an exact answer to your question. The rules may be different for him.

Yes US law dictates you need a passport to return to the country.

Not if you are also coming back on the cruise. If, you are flying out of the US and flying back in, then you do, but if you are just getting on a cruise and returning on that same cruise, then a birth certificate and driver license is still OK until 2008.

Yes u do. Cause I been there about 4 month ago it might take 5 to 6 week but mine can in about 2 week

Whenever you travel to a foreign country, it is best to have a passport - otherwise they might not let you in at all.
