My best friend is becoming very anorexic. She doesn't eat very much at all. She works out constantly. And yet she gets energy? how does that happen. Energy pills surely cant do that much for her body when she doesn't have any food.

Is she truely anorexic? The only way to get that kind of energy is by eating right. Eating right doesnt mean eating lots, it means eating the healthiest foods. I eat little, but it is the right foods, mostly raw fruit & veggies and I have tons of energy. I am most certainly not anorexic, if I was I would be too weak to do anything but lie around in bed. I know bc I have been through that.

Diet pills can give you that much energy, take it from me. I was addicted to them some years ago. I didn't eat at all (maybe ate a chocolate bar a day) and had mass amounts of energy. My husband (well he was my boyfriend at the time) told me I was acting like a speed freak because of how much energy I had. It is very unhealthy and eventually led to some other health problems, You should really try to sit down & talk to your friend before it gets worse.

I can't answer your question, but you should definetly have a heart to heart with her, and maybe her parents. You have to do something, or she will wither away.
