I responded to a questioner recently (I can only recall the name Lena) about Mary Magdalene. She wanted to Know if she was a prostitute. My response was based on what I know of the scripture. The relevance of what Mary did is of no consequence she was a sinner like we all are. What is relevant is she believed in Jesus as The Christ, the Holy Savior sent by God as our redeemer. I referenced that to her and asked if Mary was a believer, why wasn't she? Then I ended my note with an invite for her to e-mail me to let me know if she had any more thoughts on the subject. Yahoo removed my comment to her reply, as a matter of fact I can no longer find the exact question I replied to. My response has been removed the board, even though the questioner selected it as the "Best Answer". What do you all think?

PS: I believe the only rule I violated was when I asked the person to e-mail me back. So In my opinion I'm guilty of trying to have a electronic conversation with a person interested in the bible or bible topics.
Answers so far are great.

I have been emailed four times as the best answer for a yahoo Q&A question. Some have been removed, even though the person asking the question chose the answer as best. I feel yahoo answers don't know the real world. And many of us feel your trying to create a kind of piece in a world you don't really know. Yahoo Q&A is meant to be a place where you can ask any question in the world, weather is sexual, religous, rasicst, worrying, threatening, anything at all... INSTEAD YAHOO CHOOSES WHATS WRONG, WHAT SHOULDNT BE ASKED OR ANSWERED. YAHOO CONTROLLES THE Q&A AND MAKES MONEY FROM IT...YOU THINK YOUR IN CONTROLL ASKING THE QUESTIONS....YOUR WRONG **** EH!!!!!

The YQ&A is a marvelous thing, with one egregious exception: the quality of the refereeing, which is abominable. I am convinced that Yahoo recruits its referees from a sheltered workshop, and they could not collectively break out of a cardboard box on a wet day. I have complained frequently and vociferously to Yahoo about this, and not only has the situation not improved, I have never once received an intelligent reply from a real person. I think that the whole thing is done by a computer program written by someone who got an F in his computer science course.

The YQ&A is a surprising ingredient, with one egregious exception: the traditional of the refereeing, it truly is abominable. i'm positive that Yahoo recruits its referees from a sheltered workshop, and they could no longer jointly harm out of a cardboard field on a humid day. I actually have complained in a large number of circumstances and vociferously to Yahoo about this, and not in any respect in person-friendly words has the region no longer more advantageous, I actually have not in any respect as instantly as received an smart reply from a actual man or woman. i imagine of that the total ingredient is complete via creating use of a operating pc or pc software written via creating use of someone who've been given an F in his pc technologies route.

I try to give good researched answers. But I often find my "great researched and biblical answers" are in violation.
I ask "violation of what". No answer. This is supposed to be a religious section, but religious responses are often found to be violations of Yahoo standards.
Now watch how many thumbs down I will get for this answer.

My very decent, very proper, very polite, very civil question was deleted. I can't repeat the question because I might get another violation, for re-posting a deleted question, but you can go to my questions file.

My question to YA is why is that insulting posts on Catholicism are not deleted, even if they are reported, while very decent, very proper, very polite, very civil questions from Catholics are removed without even an explanation?
Peace and every blessing!

lets face it this is a corp run program with middle manager types watching for material that might be percieved as "inappropriate", as long as you talk about PS4's and pop cult, and other useless trivial knowledge everything will be ok. So take your Soma and relax, were being taken cared of so we don't become overly stimulated by thought

Join the crowd, I've had mine removed also by telling some cults what they were made of. Matter of fact any one can have this question removed also even if it doesn't offend someone.

Yes, you were. People have been getting reported all week for nothing and yahoo doesn't bother to read them, just sends the violation.

Sounds like someone reported her question and your answer. I see no reason to report that answer.

I wonder if her question was reported and because of that yours got removed. Did they take points from you too?

I would appeal. It won't matter though.
