That depends on how you chose to look at him.
He traveled lite so he had few possessions. In our materially rich, spiritually poor world this is viewed as being poor.
He was obviously a very highly developed being in a spiritual sense. Even 2,000 years later he still makes the rest of us look like spiritual paupers.
I guess in the final analysis it all boils down to what we cherish. This decides how we will see things. You make up your reality as you go by deciding what it is that is important to you. One way of seeing creates spiritual riches, the other gathers material objects.
One of these we take home with us when we are finished with life's lessons. The other stays with the body and turns to dust with it.
Only you can decide which one is most important to you.

I artwork for a residing, and it places me in a decrease than prideful state while i don't. for the time of the toils of hard artwork, i've got gained many scars, which will final as long because of the fact the systems I had a hand in construction. i think of that the wealthy artwork confusing in diverse strategies, amassing scars that are purely seen by way of different potential. think of making sufficient money to take a 300 and sixty 5 days off. could you be bored?

Jesus had no money to pay His taxes. He told peter to go fishing and the first fish he caught he could take the money that was in it's mouth and pay the taxes with it. You could do the same with that much faith.
Rich is in the mind. Money has it's own problems.

he was made filthy rich by the 3 wise men giving him gold, frankincense, and myrh but he gave it all away. to be a commoner, a peasant in this world.

he had no real net worth but high Income with very little work you never heard of him farming or doing any kind of job. And he was not on the street looking for food he stay in Inn offtern and was able to make his own bread.

he was more on the poor side. jospeh provided income to live, and they had enough to spare heading to jerusalem a couple times, but he surely diidn't have an x-box.
