This is sad. It might just be numbers. If one or two of us kooks spout off, it don't take much to report someone. If you ask a nice, mellow question about some non-Christian spirituality, you will get at least one Xian going on in an inappropriate way. You could spend all day reporting. Then what would you look like? Ignore those freaks. I'm too lazy to get all worked up over it. The judicious use of thumb-downs and sharp-tongued rhetoric helps to scare most of them.

I got my first violation notice for an answer a few days ago. I had merely copied the question, and rearranged the last few words. The notice had my response as the question and then repeated my response as the answer. I let it slide on the theory that if you don't spin-out once in awhile, you'll never figure out how fast you can go. Besides, at my age, I'm well beyond worrying what others think of me.

Don't know about fundamentalist Christians, but this Catholic has gotten her fair share of violation notices.
And it seems like everybody thinks that they're the only ones being "picked on" around here.

How do you know this to be a fact?? I am an extremely a believer in Christ and I got a violation for just giving my opinion on the orange badges. I had not attacked anyone, personally.
However, I am interested in what you say, as you are not the first non-believer to post a question such as this.

Because fundamentalist Christians are quite adept at causing anger while not using bad words.
Really, I think it's because the fundies report those they disagree with more often than the rest.

1. They at least TRY to answer the questions...
2. They don't use profanity or general insults (at least not easily understood ones that the reportobot can recognize)...
3. *GriN* They are generally nice people!...
4. Hmmm. wait... that sounds like me.. and I get reported by the *Wic-Cough-cans*

Everyone gets violations, this area is a very touchy subject to a lot of people. If you say anything that can be taken as insulting, you are at the risk of being reported for violation. You are not special to this reporting tool, nor are they. Both sides get people who do it.

I'm not what you would probably consider a fundamentalist, but I get violations.
Most of them I agree I deserve, after reading them a second time.

I once got a violation notice when I accidentally reported myself. It says a lot about the abuse system, doesn't it?
