Everynow and then when im on the computer it makes this click sound ..... it really bugs me,, any idea what it is?

There are a lot of parts to a computer, but not many that move, so I'd start by checking the moving parts. If it's a click the repeats rapidly, look at the fans. It could also be your hard drive... look at the data (hard drive) light when it clicks and see if it's accessing. If so and the click is louder than a normal hard drive you may want to start backing up important info and have it checked out. If it's one click then nothing for a while, it could be a loud electronic switch (like the switch that turns on and off fans that are controlled by heat sensors) and really shouldn't be a problem.

Some internet sites redirect you to a different URL than the one you start with. IE can generate a click when this is done. There is something in the advanced settings in internet options to change this. A good example site is Windows update.

I have seen this many times with PCs running Yahoo's security dashboard.......Are you using it ?

something isn't tightened or your computer is getting old.
