Alarms will trip if something tells it that the car is tempered.

Here're 3 possibilities...

Do you have an ultrasonic movement sensor in the car? It may be too sensitive or you might have left a window slightly open. Ultrasonic sensors can be set off by air movement.

Do you have a shock sensor in the car? A shock sensor detects bumps such as someone trying to break your window. If it's too sensitive, a truck passing by or a loud thunder could set it off .

Are one of your door sensors tripping because of an unclosed door or a faulty connection?

In the cases above, if you can find the source of the trip, you're all set. If not, if your alarm has an option to ignore all sensors except the door sensor, go ahead and try it out.

Of course, there's always the possibility that your alarm system itself is faulty...

If you have a switch somewhere to deactivate the alarm, and just use your keyless entry to lock/unlock doors, that would be a quick fix. Another quick fix would be pulling the alarm fuse.

Nissans suck...Well first I'd check to make sure you're not accidentally depressing the panic button while the remote is in your pocket. If not then you got to take it to an alarm shop and get it fixed or deactivated.

consult your car's manual on how to enter the valet mode, as most car makes have different settings for this.

in valet mode, the alarm's shock sensor is disabled. siren will only go off when one of the doors are forced open.

the shock sensor needs to be adjusted - pain in the *** to hear alarm for no reason but not hard to have taken care of.
