Yes, but I would have to be pretty certain and have it on good authority. I would use the funds to secure a strong structure in a safe location and stock it with food and supplies. Kind of like what Russia is doing now by building that huge shelter at Mt. Yamantau, but on a much smaller scale. I would make every effort to plan on being able to pay off my debt later, just in case nothing happens: I would not want to ruin the rest of my life on a bad call.

Ah, "for certain". Gotta love a sure bet. And exactly what would be the point of whatever temporary advantage you might enjoy from this certain knowledge that the system was falling apart? He who dies with the most toys wins?

And how are you "certain"? A message from the future? It could be a practical joke. A time trip to the moment before destruction? What's to say someone else hasn't been doing some time engineering of their own, spoiling your hedonistic plan? You could have a very blue Christmas if you're wrong.

Is the most authentic response to potential destruction to screw other people over while you can?
