Thank you to everyone who responded. I read and appreciated each & every one of your Answers. Recently I found myself leaning toward "Secular Humanism". I have finally found my place in the world. I am incredibly relieved to have the heavy yoke of dogmatic religion taken from my weary shoulders. For the first time in my life I feel truly free, light of heart & mind and completely whole within myself. Good fortune to all!

Dear Napqueen,you might will hate me for this because this will agitate you but for the sake of your eternal salvation I have to warn you of the seriousness of what you are doing,firstly I think this is a cop out and one with terrible consequences,you are in mortal danger of commiting that sin against the Holy Spirit which is the only sin that will not ever be forgiven.
The Holy Spirit is the true witness of the reality of Christ and to deny Christ is tantamount to saying that the Spirit of truth is a liar,and as a Catholic you should know this,the wrong spirit of this world will readily tell you how sensible and smart you are for doing this, it will applaud and suck up to you,but I want you to know that I really do care for you in Christ our Savior,please be very careful.

I was brought up Catholic also. Church, School, sunday school. I learned nothing,
except for lies, and I bet the same is true for you. But why throw out God because a church is so far from the truth? Why do you throw the baby out with the bathwater?
You are free in Christ. Free from the traditions and rules of any religion. Free.
But without God you have nothing. I wish
you found freedom in God, not without him.

It is indeed, a yoke.
Jesus himself calls it so.
He will never abandon you, so if you ever need him again, just call, eh?
Personally, I call this the "dog is off the leash" phase of belief, and you know what old farmers say about wild dogs. They're not afraid, and they do more damage than the wolf. So curb your enthusiasm. You may step into an unexpected hole.

why don't you keep the moral's of the chruch the good moral's like not killing and lose the bad one's like not haveing sex. i respect your chioce
