when you get on character map and copy the symbols i want where does it goes?

i get on there and i dont know what to do?i press the symbols and it gets on there and i dont know what to do?

A lot of people ask this question so I'll re-post my answer step-by-step:
☼ Click "Start"
☼ Go to "Programs"
☼ Go to "Accessories"
☼ Go to "System Tools"
☼ Click on "Character Map"

The Character Map has all the little ☼♦♥♪►◊♫☼☺♠♂ and even some €‌‗‚ڱڭصﮄﮔﮟﻻ.

► Note: be sure to use a normal looking font. Webdings and Wingdings won't work on Yahoo! otherwise they'll come out looking like this LN¡€C instead of what you wanted.

First, open a new Word document
click Insert symbol
you will get the symbol select window
at the top, left, select a font
you will be shown the symbols that font will print

Here, I suggest you select a common font that will be found on most computers. If you do not, and you open the file on another computer, the symbol may not print as you expect.

click on the symbol you want
click insert
click close
the symbol will be on your document

If you want to move it around, cut/paste it in a text box
