Does anybody know where I get help paying medical bills?

I am being treated for breast cancer. So I have been unable to work for awhile. We have insurance but trying to pay the deductibles are killing us. Yesterday I got a bill that said after insurance paid their portion I own them $4000 out of pocket. This is only one of the many bills I have. Because we do have some insurance we don't qualify for our hospital helping hand program or any of the ones I was referred to by the American Cancer Society. Most of the places are threatening to have my husband wages garnished they do that we'll lose the roof over our heads

first of all i am sorry to hear of your illness.if you attend church let the pastor or leader of your church know and ask if they could take up a special collection to help pay these bills are have a cake or bake sale things like that.in our community people often will place a large coffee container or jar on counters close to the cash registers of stores or gas stations etc., with a note saying who and why they are asking for donations it all helps.good luck and GOD bless you and your family.also maybe friends,family,coworkers or neighbors would be willing to donate goods or services to be auctioned off and all proceeds to go to your medical bills in a account set up for that purpose!

I am sorry to hear of your problems my suggestion would be to call your Loval government center or go their directly anask to talk to someone then they will get you to talk to someone then maybe they will get you what's called a social worker to help you and get the help you need I too am in a bind I don't have a job or any income and I too have bills to pay but I have family support to help pay some bills other wise i have a social worker and I get help from the county so check that out for you and your husband I think you can get help throught your county also!!!
