when you answer my question please specify how long it took you to get waves

You don't get waves with pomades. The only thing that pomades do is weigh you hair down to make your waves more noticeable. Brushing is the only way to develop natural permanent waves and don't let anyone tell you anything different. A wave is a weighed down curl. if you want to get waves then the easiest thing you can do is go a store than sells conair products and get their waver. It costs around 20$ and is a lot faster than waving grease.

I worked on the advertising campaign. The waves took about 20 minutes after applying the pomade and combing and finger waving. Didn't use it myself.

coconut grease. and there is wave grease but you should look in the hair stores.
