ok my friend and her boyfriend have been dating for 7 months now and now he hasn't called her, emailed her in a week
do you guys think its time for her to break it up with him or stilll stay with him

Stay out of your friend's business.
She needs someone to support her, listen to her, and tell her she is wonderful, not someone who is a busy-body-giving her advice she doesn't want.
It is STRICTLY up to her, whether she wants to stay with him, but she definitely needs a kind and gentle friend.
If it is really YOU, then again, it is strictly up to you. If you are interested, call him up and ASK him what the deal is. He may be in jail, or hospital, or on vacation or dead.
Why hasn't your "friend" called him already? I wouldn't go one day without hearing from my baby.
If my baby was purposely not talking to me for week, he better be unconscious.
If he is in jail or hospital, you might like to know.

It would help to know why he hasn't called in a week-
Busy at school/work?
Out of town?
Does he do this often (dropped out of sight)?
Is he otherwise a consistent, decent guy who treats her right?
It this is just a fluke, or if he's validly occupied with other issues, I'd say she should just talk to him and let him know she wants to hear from him regularly, even if it's only a brief phone calll. If this is just part of a stream of bad behavior, I'd say she should give him the boot.
