My sister has two children, and with both of her pregnancies she had her period for the first trimester. Her doctor told her that although this is not very common, it does happen and is apparently normal for her. However, with any bleeding in a pregnancy, you should consult your ob right away.

You can't have a period while pregnant. A period is the disposal on the unused egg and uterus lining. Anything other than that and a miscarriage is just called bleeding. Your bleeding can be a result of a few different things. I bled on and off the whole time and ended up having placenta previa. Although about 1 in 3 women report bleeding it should still be reported to your OB right away.

Not a Dr. but think these are not periods. You may be spotting or having some bleeding but basically impossible to have periods while preg. Call your Dr. and stay off your feet. Bleeding can be normal part of Pregnancy bu heavy or red bleeding can be a sign of trouble. Call your dr.

I requested the nurse a an identical query as I have had slight cramps. She stated that it used to be traditional as ligaments could be stretching and matters could begin relocating to house the brand new arrival. If you begin bleeding even though, or if the discomfort will get so much worse or if you're concerned approximately it then I could consult with the physician.

well i havent but i had a close friend who did,but hers didnt end up well she made it to the 5th month.
but i remeber what her doctor told her, many women will bleed thru their pregnancy, and will have a normal healthy baby .
i dont think she lost her baby due to the bleeding she bleed all 5 months..
i like to think since i have lost a couple that there was something wrong with the babies and it was god or nature way of helping the baby out.
my cousin lost twins and years later she had a son and found out he had ms,so maybe the twins had it to and nature helped them out..
good luck i think your make it just dont over do anything
