RESPECTABLE FRIEND;
in the starting there was no sense of wife or husband and son etc.........these are just the defenitions we had created out of an up to date cultured society.................
in the earlier times there was not mean of any relation there was just to live to eat and to sex.........
as we see in the jugle that a tiger sex with many ..and there is no law in the animals that no one can do more then he/ she can...........
during between when human realize that we should maintain a wall of to protect the rights of women that she do not bear more rap unneccery and men could get a long life loyal partner then some of the good and old of the society build the morality books and laws ...........

Scripture talks about there being other sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. Seth is named as a replacement for Able when Cain killed him. As punishment Cain was sent to wander, taking with him a wife--obviously one of his sisters.

simple...

In Genesis 5:4 it tells us that Adam lived 800 years after Seth and that he had more sons and daughters. It was not common in the time to list the geneology of the daughters unless they had some great significance. Now this was at the beginning so at the time the gene pool would not have been messed up, so in reality he married his sister and there would have been nothing wrong, it was as me marrying you, there would have been nothing wrong with that. Now as time went on and the gene pool toward family relations did become seperae and all we can have so devestating side effects if we mate with our sister, or brother but this was not the same at the beginng.

So Cain married his sister.

Adam and Eve didn't just have 2 sons, they had loads more sons and daughters but only Cain, Abel and Seth are mentioned in detail in the Bible.

In those days they lived longer and did not have the problems with their genes that we have today.. Adam and Eve had a lot of kids and they intermarried at that time it was not a problem.
There are a lot of things that are not mentioned in the Bible, races of people and animals. The Bible is not meant to cover everything that ever happened, just give you enough so you can decide whether you want Jesus or not..

In Genesis, Cain left Eden, and went to the land of Nod, east of Eden. He found his wife there. There are two separate entries in Genesis about the creation of human life. The Earth was populated with humans, then Adam and Eve were made separately for some reason.
You can find Genesis online here:

1:23 And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.

1:24 And God said: 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind.' And it was so.

1:25 And God made the beast of the earth after its kind, and the cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good.

1:26 And God said: 'Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.'

1:27 And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He *them*.

2:2 And on the seventh day God finished His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made.

2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it; because that in it He rested from all His work which God in creating had made.

2:4 These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.

2:5 No shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground;

2:6 but there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

2:7 Then the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward, in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed.

Here are verses that show God made mankind on the 5th day, took a break to rest on the 7th day, then made Adam, and Eden. Adam was apparently made specifically as a caretaker of Eden, and directly serving God there, while there where others outside the Garden....Later he brings the animals around for Adam to name them, then causes him to go to sleep, so he can make Eve.

the Bible is good at only giving the names of who it is talking about, it only Names 3 sons Cain, Able, and Seth
but it dose say that Adam and eve begot sons and daughters
So that makes Cain's wife his sister

Failing to mention that Adam and Eve had other children does not preclude them from having done so. It is important to note that Biblical writing was purposeful as well as historical. With that in mind, authors chose events which would illustrate the point at hand - they did not record every event, just those needed to make the point.

I'm not supposed to drink at work, but *gulp.*

His sister. Adam and Eve had many children, not just Cain and Abel.

Intermarriage was necessary to populate the Earth until the gene pool was large enough that it was no longer needed.

*Nobody tell my boss! :D*

Scully is correct. Genisis didn't happen overnight.
Adam and Eve produced many sons and daughters in Adam's 800 or more years of life on earth.
